Today was pre-op day. Surgery is scheduled for Monday, April 26th with time to be announced. The physican again said he expects to remove the cysts and all will be well. (95% asssurance I will go home the same day and not stay overnight in hospital.) However, they will have the cysts viewed while in surgery for a quick analysis. If cancer, surgery will proceed to remove ovaries and surrounding organs as necessary. If the quick analysis is uncertain, the surgery will end, and it will be sent to a lab for more in depth analysis. At that time, if cancer is present, it is likely to have a second surgery to remove organs affected...BUT GOD is in control of this whole situtation. Scott and I have great peace that it will not be cancer and the cysts will be removed, and we move forward marching in victory with Jesus!
We do not know the future and even if worse case where to happen, GOD is still GOD and will see us through whatever procedure and path we have to travel. We are in a win - win situation. God is Sovereign, ALMIGHTY, our REDEEMER, our PROVIDER, our PROTECTOR, our GREAT I AM. Whatever we need, friends, HE IS THAT! We must keep our eyes set on HIM and HIS POWER, not the pressures and problems this world gives us today!
Rejoice that He is God in every situation. He is constant and faithful. He is with us in sickness and in health, in wealth and in poverty, in our failures and our successes! Trust HIM, serve HIM, and worship HIM today. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!
These reflections express Renee's thoughts, feelings, and opinions with the desire to encourage, inspire and motivate others to a deeper relationship with God through His love and grace of Jesus Christ. May these writings reflect the Sound of God's Voice, the Light of Christ and the Fire of His Holy Spirit from the surface of Renee's heart and shine upon whosoever will receive Him.

Overwhelmed
Sunday, Donna & I (Three for Thee, Inc.) worshipped with Westmoreland Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wilson, NC. Words have yet come to me that would explain the ovewhelming sense of the Holy Spirit I felt on that day. Donna & I both agreed, even on the way to the church, that we felt His presence. As worship began, we felt His Spirit stirring within...growing stronger and stronger. The service was turned over to us, and I can honestly say that much of it I do not remember. I was literally overwhelmed by His presence when signing and speaking - unlike any experience I have ever had in a service. The message was from Zechariah, and I felt without a doubt God was calling someone...more than one. My heart was heavy though as the words came because I believe, eventhough many responded, there were some who did not return to Him. My heart is still heavy. God calls...God calls...with love, mercy, and compassion, He calls. We have a choice to respond with obedience and yield to Him, or respond with rejection and ignore His calling. My prayer has been that whoever quenched the Spirit on Sunday and ignored the call, he or she will continue to see/hear God's presence every place he or she goes. I pray that His loving Spirit will continue to call through every avenue He can use until the person/s surrenders all to our Almighty God, Savior and King.
Do you hear Him calling you to something? To obedience in an area of struggle? To a deeper level of worship and intimacy with Him? To love and peace far deeper than you can imagine? It is all found through His Spirit. Yield to Him...and His blessings will follow!
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus...the one and only forever King, Savior, and Lord...to HIM be all glory, honor and praise...for He reigns forever, and ever, and ever. AMEN!

Update on Jacob's Journey
This is the most recent update from Donna regarding Jacob's Journey. People, praise our Lord and Savior, for He is worthy!!!
"Had a follow up appointment at Duke on Tuesday this week; and Jacob's x-ray and MRI looked great, and we do not follow up with the doctors again until late August. He is able to do light PE activities now and he is happy with that. Jacob has been just praising the Lord, his words "THANK YOU LORD." My heart is so full of God's blessings on us. He is our healer and protector and I LOVE to PRAISE HIM EVERYDAY!!!! What a MIGHTY GOD we serve.
Love to you all and remembering us in your prayers.
Ken, Donna and Jacob Rhodes"
Well, can you give me an "AMEN"? Glory to God!

Another Snowy Time...
Yesterday was a beautiful morning when I looked out to see the gift of snow God gave us through the night. It was literally breath-taking! What is it about the snow that just changes everything? Many dislike it, but personally, I love it...at least the amount that we get here in Eastern NC. Just enough to enjoy but not enough to keep us down for too long. I love the reflective moments that come from the blanket covering.
Even through I've have reflective moments, There's not much to blog about today...just had you on my mind...thinkin' it's been a while since a post. Scott is sick, so we are hanging low around home. God is gracious and merciful in all the seasons of our lives...for better, for worse, in sickness and in health!
Three for Thee has experienced some exciting times recently. We were invited to share in a Homecoming Celebration with the Dixie Melody Boys, and we just recorded a promotional DVD! We're in the process of getting a webpage, and we're looking forward to sharing a song with Tanglewood Church on EASTER SUNDAY! What a glorious day that will be!
Check out Three for Thee, Inc. on Facebook for some photos just uploaded!
If you can join us April 4th, we will share in the 8:30am & 10:45am service. Tanglewood is also preparing for The Victor. Check out the website: www.thevictortwc.com
Until the next post, stay safe & keep your eyes focused on HIM!

Snow Day!
Seriously, where does the time go? November was my last post!!!???? Jacob is a revelation of God's Glory without a doubt. He has progressed from halo to neck brace, and only wears that occasionally. The next appointment at Duke will be in March (I believe). What a thrill to get a hug without the hardware! He continues to praise the Lord and walk as the prayer warrior he is! Absolutely amazing! I know that before long, God will give Donna the words to share her testimony....I can barely wait!
The Fresh Grounded Faith Conference in Greenville, NC, was scheduled for last night and today. We were able to join Jennifer Rothschild last night, but unfortunately had to cancel today due to inclement weather - snow and ice is everywhere! Last night was a blessing, and I received a double portion by seeing my "She Speaks" friend and even meeting a few new ones! Eventhough my heart desperately wanted to be there, it is nice to have a "snow day," which for me, means being lazy...doing nothing but watch it fall. I always go into a trance-like state and just zone out. I kinda wonder if God was saying to me, "It's time to get still again, Renee!" Things are always so busy. I say too many times that I will start slowing down, but before I realize it, my schedule is packed full!
So...aaahhh...what a gloriously beautiful day. Frankie (our cat) is curled up next to me in a blanket. Max (our dog) has found a cozy place to sleep (his favorite passtime!)...and Scott...he works...yep, works! Is he nuts? Travis (stepson) has gone to see who he can rescue, so it's just me and the Lord.
Last night, Jennifer spoke of three states of living: doing, having, and being. Today, I am definately being!
Be blessed and safe today...enjoy God's matchless beauty!
